The SeaBus terminal in North Vancouver is being evacuated after a suspicious package was found on the MV Burrard Beaver during the rush hour on Tuesday evening.

North Vancouver RCMP Cpl. Doug Trousdell said there has been no damage or injuries reported.

"The North Van RCMP are investigating a suspicious package that was left on a SeaBus. The SeaBus is currently docked at the North Vancouver terminal, and the terminal and the SeaBus have been evacuated as a precaution," he said.

TransLink says Seabus trips in both directions from Waterfront to Lonsdale Quay have been cancelled due to "police incident" until further notice.

Buses are stopping just outside the North Vancouver terminal.
