TTC Line 1 closures to note this weekend

Heads up, TTC riders — there are two Line 1 closures to note this weekend as the TTC continues signal and track work as well as the Union Station revitalization.

Saturday

On Saturday only, there will be no service between Bloor-Yonge and Osgoode stations. Shuttle buses will run between Rosedale and Osgoode, the TTC says, but will not serve Union Station due to Front Street construction.

Riders can walk from King or St. Andrew stations or take the 6 Bay bus, the TTC advises. The TTC also suggests using the 504 King or 505 Dundas streetcars to travel downtown.

Sunday

On Sunday only, there will be no service between Union and St. Andrew stations. Riders can use the Yonge line to reach Union station and the University line to reach St. Andrew. The 506 Carlton, 505 Dundas, 501 Queen and 504 King streetcars are all alternatives.

Regular subway service will resume on Monday at 6 a.m.
