Longueuil police are asking for the public's help as they search for a man accused of scamming senior citizens.

Police allege the suspect has defrauded three different seniors.

In one case, which took place last Tuesday, police said the suspect phoned his target and pretending to be their son.

Then, according to investigators, he told his victim he was in a car accident and needed $6,000 to pay police.

Police said the suspect then told the victim that he'd be sending a contact to their house to pick up the money.

Anyone who knows the suspect or who has information about the case is asked to contact Longueuil police at 450-463-7211 or phone 911.
