Ryan Gosling Assists With Same-Sex Marriage Proposal At SXSW

This man can do no wrong.

Ryan Gosling is basically perfect.

The actor was participating in a Q and A with the cast of "Lost River," his debut directorial effort, at South by Southwest in Austin on Saturday, when a fan stood up and asked if she could take a moment to propose to her girlfriend of 11 years.

Gosling was only too happy to oblige, offering a microphone so everyone could hear. "Lost River" co-stars Eva Mendes and Saoirse Ronan appeared excited as the fan prepared to propose.

Gosling, ever the gentleman, could have taken more questions after the touching moment, but he clearly knew when to call it a day.

Just a little more proof that the star of "The Notebook" and "Drive" can't do anything wrong.
