Several areas in Toronto and the GTA are without power on Tuesday morning.

Toronto Hydro’s map of outages showed several neighbourhoods affected, including some parts of Etobicoke near the lakeshore and some parts of Scarborough including Dorset Park.

PowerStream, meanwhile, reported outages in Vaughan, Woodbridge and some other areas north of the city.

This is the second widespread outage in March, though Tuesday’s is far less serious.

On March 3, power was knocked out to 87,000 homes after a mix of weather sparked pole fires across the city.
