While the official start of spring won't be here until Friday, the Ecomuseum's two black bears started the season a little early, emerging from hibernation on Tuesday.
The bears, named Juno and Genie, spent their first winter at the St-Anne-de-Bellevue zoo.
"As it was their very first winter with us, decision was made to let them have a calm first day out, and see what their behaviour would be like," a statement from the Eco Museum reads.
"Turns out they were full of energy, happier than ever to play together in the snow!"
The Ecomuseum is home to 115 animal species, all native to Quebec.
