Intruder At Red Deer School Jailed

RED DEER, Alta. - A man has been sentenced to 20 days in jail after admitting to punching and pushing two teachers at a school in Red Deer, Alta.

Tristan Krahn, a 27-year-old Red Deer resident, pleaded guilty Tuesday to two counts of assault and one of break and enter.

Court heard that an intoxicated man entered a middle school on the afternoon of March 5 and punched a teacher who had asked him to leave.

The intruder then made his way through the building and pushed another teacher before he was locked in the band room, and later escaped through a screen window.

He was arrested soon after on school property.

Krahn faces two years of probation upon release. (CKGY)
