TTC Bloor line reopened between Woodbine and Keele

The Bloor-Danforth line has reopened after work crews restored power Sunday morning.

The TTC had dispatched 30 buses to accommodate Bloor-Danforth (Line 2) customers forced above ground Sunday morning between Wooodbine and Keele stations for "work zone issues."

TTC media relations said that it's not exactly a typical power outage — crews cut the power lines while working on the tracks, but couldn't restore power for normal service Sunday.

Service was restored around 11 a.m.

Meanwhile on Line 1 (Yonge-University), there are scheduled closures between St. George and Lawrence West stations. Buses are servicing the route while crews work on track and signal upgrades. Service will start again on that line Monday morning.
