Elderly man found injured near Humber Bay Park has died

A 72-year-old man found found semi-conscious and bleeding from the head last Wednesday in Etobicoke has died, according to police.

Khee Hien Liem of Toronto was found near the Humber Bay Park south of Lake Shore Boulevard West in Etobicoke on Wednesday, March 18. He was taken to the hospital and succumbed to his injuries on the afternoon of Monday, March 23.

A post-mortem examination has been scheduled for Tuesday. 

Police are calling it Toronto's 10th homicide of the year.
