1. 68: The Show

This show is a re-creation of Elvis Presley’s comeback show in 1968. After making films for seven years, Elvis found his way back to the stage with a landmark TV special called “Elvis.” Elvis impersonator Eli Williams and the Memphis Sound take you back to that show from start to finish.

2. Easter Train in Stanley Park

You can hop aboard the Easter Train for a festive ride. Expect lots of Easter eggs and giant bunny rabbits on this family-friendly trip.

3. Sonic Boom Festival

This annual festival celebrates contemporary classical music and features B.C. composers. The event showcases the Piano and Erhu Project, and brings musicians together for a master class and experts panel. You’ll get a chance to listen to opera, chamber music, and experimental performances.

4. Vancouver International Swordplay Symposium

This three-day event is a gathering of swordplay enthusiasts who want to learn from experts. There are lots of opportunities to spar and get one-on-one coaching. Participants will also get a chance to sign up for workshops on footwork, and improving techniques on the rapier, longsword and dagger.

5. Portobello West Spring Market
