Child critically injured in Keele-McNaughton collision

York Regional Police say a child was critically injured and five others were hurt after a serious vehicle collision in Vaughan on Tuesday night.

Police said the collision happened around 7 p.m. at Keele Street and McNaughton Road. Firefighters, paramedics and police all responded to the scene.

York police said a child, whose age was not released, suffered critical injuries in the collision, which appears to involve a black SUV and white minivan.

The five other people injured were treated for non-life threatening injuries.
