Correction to April 14 story about U.S. energy outlook and impact on imports

WASHINGTON - In an April 14 story about the annual U.S. energy outlook, The Canadian Press reported that the outlook suggested oil imports from Canada would one day be enough to supply all U.S. import needs.

In fact, the report indicates that Canada could soon supply more than the net amount of U.S. crude imports — the balance of what the U.S. imports, minus its exports.
