What better way is there to celebrate double-digit weather in Toronto than with a fabulous meal... or 10?
Despite a terrible winter, the Toronto restaurant scene proved it sleeps for no one, with a few big shot names opening up new spots across the city and a few others revamping and rebranding to lure the public back into its doors. (Yes, we're looking at you, Peter Pan Bistro.)
Meanwhile, some stalwarts closed, like Queen West's Swan Restaurant and King East's Gilead Café and Wine Bar, to which we bid farewell, and thank for all the frites.
But with food, as with food trends, it's onto the next big thing, so we're taking a look at the new, hot restaurants that have opened in Toronto in 2015. Check out our list, and let us know if your new favourite meal didn't make the list — we'll be sure to check it out.
Correction: An earlier version of this list included Porzia, which opened in 2013. However, the resto just released a new spring menu, so it is still worth checking out if you haven't yet!
