The 22-year-old singer was subjected to some harsh body shaming earlier this week when she was photographed wearing a tiny pink bikini, but she didn't let it get to her. Instead, "The Heart Wants What It Wants" songstress responded in the best way possible: a sexy, body-positive selfie.
In the Instagram snap, the brunette beauty is seen lounging in a racy black and tan one-piece that showcases her beautiful curves. She playfully covers her face with her hands, and her thigh tattoo is in full view.
She captioned the photo "happy with me y'all," reminding us that it's important to love yourself and hashtagged the post #theresmoretolove.
And we totally agree! There's no shame in feeling great and wanting to shout it from the rooftops. There's no denying Selena is beautiful, and we love how she's proud to share that she's happy with herself.
Gomez's pic comes shortly after fashion blogger Jessica Kane's kickass swimsuit photo and Lane Bryant's empowering campaign, all of which encourage us to love our bodies the way we are, and we couldn't be more thrilled.
