Kim Kardashian Comments On Bruce Jenner's Transition In 'Today' Interview

Kim Kardashian Comments On Bruce Jenner's Transition In New Interview

Kim Kardashian West says her family "all really support[s]" Bruce Jenner's transition from male to female, but admits it has been a "hard adjustment" for them.

The 34-year-old reality star is opening up in a pre-recorded exclusive interview with "Today" host Matt Lauer, set to air Monday. But a new clip, released Saturday, shows her speaking out about how her stepfather's coming out as transgender has affected her family.

"I think there is still an adjustment, and there is family therapy and we're really close," says Kardashian West.

Kardashian West, her siblings and step-siblings all showed signs of support for Jenner on social media following Friday's interview with "20/20"'s Diane Sawyer. That night, Jenner publicly announced his "brain is much more female than male" and "for all intents and purposes, I am a woman." The Olympic gold medallist also said he prefers to be referred to using male pronouns for the time being, until he becomes the person he calls "her."

Four of his children, including Burt, Brandon and Brody Jenner and Cassandra Marino (née Jenner), appeared on the Friday night telecast which garnered nearly 17-million viewers in the U.S.. However, this "Today" sit-down marks the first on-camera comments by one of Jenner's family members regarding his transition, in a platform separate from the "20/20" interview.

"I see reports that say, you know, this one doesn't support him, and this one's over here and my mom feels this way, and it's all really so made up," says Kardashian West.
