Ryan Reynolds Hit And Run: B.C. Photographer Rik Fedyck Charged

Rik Fedyck, 52, is facing counts of criminal harrassment, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, and assault with a weapon.

A Richmond, B.C. paparazzo has been charged in connection with an alleged hit and run involving actor Ryan Reynolds.

Rik Fedyck, 52, is facing counts of criminal harassment, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, and assault with a weapon, according to Global News.

The actor said Fedyck hit him with his car in the underground parking lot of the Shangri-La Hotel on April 10. Reynolds, 38, had been in the city shooting his shooting his new film, "Deadpool."

Vancouver police Sgt. Randy Fincham said at the time that Reynolds had a sore knee and back, but was otherwise uninjured.

Police tracked the driver down by studying security footage and interviewing Reynolds and witnesses. After his initial arrest, Fedyck denied the incident, telling The Province newspaper that "Ryan Reynolds was not hit by a car."

In 2010, Fedyck was reportedly a suspect in a hit and run involving "Twilight" star Kellan Lutz, but the paparazzo was never charged, reported CTV News.

Some of Fedyck's harassment charges involving Reynolds are related to incidents that date back as far as February 28, according to CBC News.

Fedyck is scheduled to appear in Vancouver provincial court on April 28.
