Karri Ramo, Flames goalie, to start Game 2 vs. Ducks

Calgary Flames head coach Bob Hartley announced Friday that Karri Ramo will get the start in net for Game 2 against the Anaheim Ducks.

This decision comes a day after Jonas Hiller was pulled for allowing three goals on 14 shots in an eventual 6-1 shelling in Anaheim.

It was the second consecutive game that saw Hiller get the hook early. The 33 year old has a .919 save percentage and 2.61 goals-against average through the playoffs.

Ramo was credited with the series-deciding Game 6 victory over the Vancouver Canucks, but has never started a game in the playoffs. He has a .881 save percentage and 3.16 goals-against average, all in relief of Hiller.
