Johnny Weir Killed The Hat Game At The Kentucky Derby

Because Derby=roses.

Move over flower crowns, this season it's all about the flower mohawk -- at least according to Johnny Weir.

Over the weekend, the two-time Olympic figure skater donned an ornate rose hat to the Kentucky Derby, and it made quite the statement.

Have a look for yourself:

The "winner's wreath Mohawk" was created by Amorir Eyewear, and featured a bed of roses sitting overtop green leaves, and even had a mint julep incorporated on the left side.

The 30-year-old paired the extravagant topper with a brocade suit and regal-looking loafers. He accessorized with a gold Rolex watch and a ring by Rox Jewelry.

"Derby=Roses," he captioned a photo. "Believe in yourselves, trust your intuition and do things because you believe in them and pay no heed to those who don't understand your vision."

We couldn't agree more! Keep doing you, Johnny.
