EDMONTON - NDP Leader Rachel Notley says she is confident her party can make inroads in rural areas in the Alberta election.

Notley says the party has a good roster of candidates who has got the message across to voters in the last month.

Polls suggest her party is in a tight race with the Wildrose party and the Progressive Conservatives.

Voters go to the polls Tuesday.

PC Leader Jim Prentice and Brian Jean of the Wildrose are trying to woo voters from the other side to join them to prevent an NDP government.

Notley says Albertans should not try to vote to stymie someone but to vote for what they believe in.
