This ensemble is going to get a lot of people talking.
For the 2015 Met Gala, Sarah Jessica Parker took the "China: Through The Looking Glass" theme very literally, donning a headdress similar to those worn in a Chinese opera.
We'll save you the trouble of scrolling down:
The ornate Philip Treacy headpiece featured red and white ribbon which twirled upwards to resemble frames. Delicate lace embroidery decorated the front, while maroon poms and a giant flower sat in the background. The "Sex and the City" actress paired the topper with a black floor-length, one-shouldered H&M gown with an embroidered silk panel on the left side. The back of the 50-year-old's ensemble featured a cape with poppy embroidery.
For her beauty look, SJP's eyes were heavily rimmed with icy blue eyeshadow and liner. The rest of her makeup was kept simple with a pink lip and a hint of blush. Her long locks were left down with a slight wave.
The choice seemed a bit off, and we're sure it will spark a lot of conversation about cultural appropriation.
