Two years after the meme began, Ryan Gosling is finally eating his cereal.
Film maker and vine creator Ryan McHenry, 27, died on May 3rd after a two-year struggle with cancer. McHenry was the man responsible for the hilarious Ryan Gosling Won't Eat His Cereal Vines, which featured the Canadian actor swatting away spoonfuls of cereal (albeit, via his film characters).
McHenry who was diagnosed with bone cancer shortly after he posted his first Gosling video on April 22, 2013, documented his battle with the cancer alongside his famous videos.
Just last month, during a Twitter Q&A session, Gosling tried to set the record straight, confessing that he really does love cereal — which led to McHenry coyly apologizing and asking for forgiveness:
Gosling denied him at the time, but took to Vine and Twitter on May 4th to raise a spoonful of cereal in his first ever Vine as a tribute to McHenry.
McHenry posted his last Gosling cereal video just nine days before he passed away.
