What's open, what's closed over Victoria Day weekend in Toronto

The Victoria Day long weekend marks the opening of many provincial park campsites in Ontario, but it also means a host of stores and services in town will be closed.

On Monday, both the TTC and GO Transit will operate on holiday schedules.

LCBO and Beer Stores will be closed on Monday.

Banks, schools and public libraries will all be closed for the holiday. Some malls, including Sherway Gardens, Scarborough Town Centre and Yorkdale will also be closed on Monday. 

Here's a more extensive list:

OPEN

- Canada Post offices; mail delivery will take place as usual.

- Some grocery stores around the region (call ahead or check online to be sure).

- Some malls, including Toronto Eaton Centre, Pacific Mall, Vaughan Mills and Square One.

- The city's indoor pools.

- Most restaurants, tourist hot spots and movie theatres.

CLOSED

- All LCBO and Beer Store locations.

- Banks.

- All municipal buildings, including City Hall.

- Public libraries.

TRANSIT

- The TTC will operate on a holiday schedule

- No service on Sunday on Line 2 between St. George and Pape stations; regular service resumes on Monday

- GO Transit will operate on a Saturday schedule.

ATTRACTIONS

Several popular destinations will be open Monday:

- The Ontario Science Centre.

- The Art Gallery of Ontario.

- The Royal Ontario Museum.

- Hockey Hall of Fame.

- Toronto Zoo.

- Ripley's Aquarium.
