5-Year-Old Girl Stabbed In London, Suspect Arrested

London Police say the suspect and girl are “known to one another.”

UPDATE: The girl's father, Andrew Bruce Hill, has been charged with attempted murder, CTV reports.

One man has been arrested in London, Ont., after a five-year-old girl was stabbed early Tuesday.

London Police said officers arrived at a home on Applegreen Grove shortly after 6 a.m. and found the unnamed girl suffering from multiple stab wounds.

She was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to a news release. The man was arrested at the scene.

Police did not specify the relationship between the suspect and girl, but did said they are “known to one another.”

An investigation remains ongoing.
