Mississauga man Osamah Al-Mandalawi, 25, has been charged after a driver picked up three women and drove them to the York Region, police said in a news release.

The driver dropped off two women before telling the third passenger that she would have to pay with cash or some other way as they approached her final destination.

Only credit cards can pay for Uber rides.

The woman felt uncomfortable and asked to be let out of the vehicle.

He eventually stopped, but left the car and then sexually assaulted the passenger, police said.
