New York Rangers winger Rick Nash is known for his regular season scoring, but is a perennial playoff underperformer.

This year's post season has been no different, as the 30-year-old power forward has only managed a single goal in each of the previous two playoff series.

He had an answer for critics on Friday night when he opened the scoring in the first period of Game 4 against the Tampa Bay Lightning and big Ben Bishop on a strong breakaway attempt.

It was his eighth career playoff goal.
