Looks like IMG Models is changing the face of fashion, one contract at a time.

After signing five plus-size models (including Ashley Graham) last year, the agency has just added transgender model, Hari Nef, to its roster.

The 22-year-old Columbia grad, who made her modelling debut at the spring 2015 shows during New York Fashion Week, is the second to sign with the mega-agency (following Paris-based Valentijn De Hingh), and the first to be signed to worldwide representation.

She took to Instagram to express her gratitude, writing, "I can't verbalize how thrilled I am to be joining the @imgmodels family. thanks are due to @ivanmbart for his generosity and vision. #girlslikeus #staytuned #outhere."

Hari, who is also an actress and writer, has been making waves in the industry, starring in video campaigns for Selfridges, making the 2015 Dazed 100 list and appearing in Paper magazine's 2015 Beautiful People issue. She's written for Vice, Adult, Blackbook and Dazed & Confused, and already has a list of theatre and indie film credits.

Nef's contract comes shortly after Vogue featured transgender model Andreja Pejic in its May 2015 issue -- a first for the fashion bible. And considering IMG is one of the best-known agencies in the industry (it represents Gigi Hadid, Gisele Bundchen, Candice Swanepoel and more), we have a feeling this means the fashion world will continue to embrace a more diverse definition of beauty (as they should).
