A free show honouring the three Codiac Regional RCMP officers killed during the June 4th shootings in Moncton will be held on the one-year anniversary of the event.

As part of its 2015 national tour, the RCMP Musical Ride will be held rain or shine at the Magnetic Hill concert site on June 4 beginning at 7 p.m.

In a news release, the RCMP say the event will pay tribute to Cst. Doug Larche, Cst. Dave Ross and Cst. Fabrice Gevaudan.

"This will be an opportunity for the community to come together to remember," said the release.

The show is also intended to honour Cst. Eric Dubois and Cst Darlene Goguen, both injured while responding to the shootings.

There is no seating available on site, so those attending the show are encouraged to bring a lawn chair. The show lasts about 75 minutes.

Free parking for the event is available at the parking lots for the Magnetic Hill Zoo, Magic Mountain and Crandall University. Vehicles displaying a disabled parking tag will be able to park in a designated area on the concert site grounds.

The performance is being done in partnership with the City of Moncton as a way for the New Brunswick RCMP and the city to thank residents for their support during the past year.
