RCMP say vehicle pinned under semi during apparent street race in Surrey, B.C.

SURREY, B.C. - Four people are in hospital after a crash that police say appears to have happened during a street race in Surrey, B.C.

RCMP say the collision happened at about 11:40 p.m. on Tuesday.

Mounties say one vehicle was wedged under a semi truck while a second vehicle drove off.

Officers say all of four people who were taken to hospital are expected to survive.

Police say one person is now being investigated for impaired driving. (CKNW)
