Batman Spotted On Toronto 'Suicide Squad' Shoot

Where the Joker goes, you can be sure that Batman will follow.

Where the Joker goes, Batman is sure to follow.

That theory was borne out Wednesday night, when people watching the shooting of the DC Comics film "Suicide Squad" caught Batman hitching a ride on the back of the supervillain's neon pink sports car.

The sighting of the caped crusader himself, who is being played by Ben Affleck, comes after the Batmobile was seen chasing the Joker down Yonge Street on Monday.

A bystander captured footage of the stunt as it was happening at Yonge and Dundas streets and posted it online:

The film, which is being directed by David Ayer, tells the story of a group of supervillains who carry out dangerous missions in exchange for reduced prison sentences.

It also stars Jared Leto as the Joker, Margot Robbie as his accomplice Harley Quinn, and Will Smith as Deadshot, an assassin.

Production has generated plenty of excitement on social media, with set photos that show actors including Leto and Robbie in action.

With so many scenes playing out on Yonge Street, will Torontonians even bother to see this film in theatres?
