Alberta RCMP charge man, woman with murder after body found in burnt-out Jeep

EDMONTON - Mounties have charged two people with first-degree murder in the death of a man whose body was found in a burnt-out Jeep outside of Edmonton.

The remains of Adrian Gregory, who was 30 and originally from Ottawa, were discovered Dec. 30 at an industrial park in Strathcona County.

RCMP say Jeremy Pershaw, who was also in the vehicle, was wounded.

Both men were shot.

RCMP have charged Shane Tym of Chilliwack, B.C., and Sarah Posthumus, of Tara, Ont., with first-degree murder and attempted murder.

Tym, who is 28, is to appear in Strathcona County court Wednesday and Posthumus, who is 29, has been released on bail pending a future court date.
