Bezzoubenko, Black headline promising Pan Am gymnastics team

Patricia Bezzoubenko and Elle Black headline a strong gymnastics team that will compete at the Pan Am Games in Toronto.

The 18 athletes were announced by Gymnastics Canada on Thursday.

Bezzoubenko is a six-time Commonwealth Games medallist and current Canadian champion in rhythmic gymnastics. Black is the leader of the women's artistic team and is ranked top eight in the world on the beam.

The artistic gymnastics competition will take place at the Toronto Coliseum from July 11 to 15.

The individual and group rhythmic gymnastics competitions will also take place at the Toronto Coliseum from July 17 to 20.
