The pricetag puts the Bar-N Ghost Pine Ranch as the most expensive residential listing in Alberta's history.
The property in Willow Creek is set on 14,740 acres of land. It has six residential homes, including a 5,200 square-foot main house, a guest house and four staff houses. The furniture and artwork is included.
Retired oil and gas executive Greg Noval bought the ranch in 1992. It was also once owned by the Wesley family, known for their ties to the Granum White Sox baseball team in southern Alberta.
It is a working ranch with 800 cattle and 36 Angus cross bulls, corrals and barns. A majority of the land is deeded, but 5,700 acres is Crown leased.
On its listing page, Sotheby's International says a buyer could make the ranch a turnkey operation and retain the current staff.
The listing also mentions water springs, a trout pond and world-class hunting.
