VANCOUVER - Police say two motorcyclists were injured after a hit and run involving an SUV in Vancouver.

The crash happened at about 1 a.m. on Wednesday.

Police say a 41-year-old male driver and 29-year-old female passenger were hurt, but their injuries are not as serious as responders initially thought.

Officers say the driver of a Toyota SUV escaped.

Investigators are now looking for the vehicle and say its front passenger side is damaged.
