All the more reason to love Tess Holliday!
The 29-year-old stunner, who was the first model of her size and height (size 22, 5'5) to be signed to a major agency, is once again empowering women to love their bodies as they are.
In a new campaign called #SimplyBekini for British fashion brand Simply Be, Holliday (whose real name is Tess Munster), encourages women to be more confident this summer by cheekily coming up with an easy solution to getting a bikini body: simply putting a bikini on your body!
"All women need to do to get a bikini body is to put a bikini on, then they’re ready to hit the beach" the People magazine cover girl told Simply Be USA. "There is no such thing as a perfect body and the hardest barrier for women to overcome is themselves. And no wonder, considering the skinny body ideals that are portrayed widely across the media today."
And to help overcome that barrier, Simply Be is encouraging women to share their bikini selfies with the hashtag #SimplyBekini. Like Holliday's #EffYourBeautyStandards, the hashtag is just another way for these women to embrace their bodies as they are.
"I hope #SimplyBekini inspires women to love themselves and their wobbly bits," said Tess.
