Missing woman Kara Stoyanowski sought by West Kelowna RCMP

Police in West Kelowna, B.C., are asking for the public's help in locating a young Winnipeg woman who went missing a week ago on Tuesday.

Kara Stoyanowski was last seen on June 9 as she was leaving a recreational area near a road to Headwaters and Peachland Lake Road in West Kelowna.

​Police describe the 24-year-old Caucasian woman as being about 5' 8" tall and weighing 120 pounds. She has short pink hair and had been wearing flip flips, a shirt and shorts.

Anyone who has seen a young woman matching this description — or who has information on Stoyanowski's whereabouts — is being asked to call the West Kelowna RCMP at (250) 768-2880 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
