Royal Nickel Corp. (TSX:RNX). Miner. Up 9.5 cents, or 31.67 per cent, to 39.5 cents on 4.4 million shares.

Bombardier Inc. (TSX:BBD.B). Aerospace, rail equipment. Down six cents, or 2.43 per cent, to $2.41 on 3.9 million shares.

Toronto-Dominion Bank (TSX:TD). Bank. Up 14 cents, or 0.26 per cent, to $54.34 on 3.4 million shares.

Encana Corp. (TSX:ECA). Oil and gas. Down 40 cents, or 2.81 per cent, to $13.84 on 3.2 million shares.

Intermap Technologies Corp. (TSX:IMP). Business Services. Down half-a-cent, or 1.20 per cent, to 41 cents on 2.9 million shares.

Suncor Energy Inc. (TSX:SU). Oil and gas. Down 19 cents, or 0.55 per cent, to $34.37 on 2.7 million shares.

Empire Co. Ltd. (TSX:EMP.A). Grocer. Down 70 cents, or 0.77 per cent, to $90.10 on 85,625 shares. Subsidiary Sobeys said it expects to eliminate 1,300 jobs over the next year or two as the supermarket chain moves to open new distribution centres in Ontario and Alberta and continues to integrate Safeway Canada's operations. Empire president and CEO Marc Poulin says the jobs cuts will start in late 2016 and will primarily involve back-office functions.
