RED DEER, Alta. - Mounties have seized more than 10,000 prescription pills from a home in Red Deer, Alta.

A task force made up of several central Alberta detachments found the pills on June 17.

A police spokesman says they are still going through all the pills and there are a variety of opiate-based drugs, including OxyNeo.

The search came after police got a tip about suspicious activity at the residence.

Allie Gader, who is 56, is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime.

Gader was to appear in court today in Red Deer.
