Longueuil police are looking for a woman involved in a cyclist hit-and-run on Chambly Road in May.

The incident happened at around 11:30 a.m. near the intersection of Jacques Cartier Boulevard on May 27.

Police say the driver of a beige, four-door, compact car collided with a cyclist who was riding on the sidewalk.

The driver did not stop to help the victim, police said.

Today, investigators released a surveillance image of the woman believed to be the driver taken at a nearby bank not long before the crash.

She is described as around 30 years old, around five feet seven inches tall, and weighing about 186 lbs. She has red hair and was wearing a purple camisole.

The car was described as possibly a Nissan manufactured in the 1990s.
