Wassim Filali and Sebastien Nicu Baltatu Casu, both 20, were charged on Thursday afternoon in Quebec Court, according to Montreal police.
Filali is facing charges of second-degree murder and assault causing bodily harm, while Casu is facing at least one charge of assault causing bodily harm.
The stabbing took place in the early-morning hours of June 24 near the corner of Clark Street and Des Pins Avenue in Montreal's Plateau–Mont-Royal borough.
The victim suffered an upper-body injury and was later pronounced dead in hospital on Wednesday morning.
Two other men in their 20s were injured, but both are in stable condition.
