Getting your Canadian citizenship is a huge rite of passage for newcomers to the country. But before you can become a citizen, you have to pass a quiz that tests your knowledge of Canada's history, political system, and more.

Those taking the exam have 30 minutes to finish, and need to get 15 out of 20 questions right to get a passing grade. Some of the questions are deceptively easy ("What does the Canadian flag look like?") while others will have you wishing you paid attention to your high school social studies teacher. For examples, check out the Richmond Public Library's test question database.
