Southern B.C. not done with the heat

After a record-breaking hot and muggy weekend across the South Coast of B.C., a few showers on Monday morning will not break the heat.

In fact, Sunday night was one of our most humid nights yet with temperatures in the high teens that felt more like 29 with a humidex.

On Monday look for a mix of sun and clouds with temperatures right back up to 26 C for Vancouver, and closer to a muggy 30 C inland.

The region will cool down a couple of degrees on Tuesday, but by Canada Day on Wednesday, temperatures will be on the rise again.

By the end of the week the South Coast of B.C. could be even hotter than last weekend.

Stay hydrated and cool out there, and watch out for those mating flying ants!
