Hells Angels' Trois-Rivières bunker to be demolished for unpaid taxes

Even the Hells Angels can't escape the taxman in Quebec.

The bunker belonging to a faction of the Hells Angels in Trois-Rivières will soon be demolished after a Quebec Superior Court judge ruled that the city could take the land in exchange for unpaid taxes.

The Missiles motorcycle club owed the city $62,000 in property taxes.

The 15 or so bikers moved out in May and took their belongings with them. Judge André Vincent had not given an order to repossess the contents of the bunker.

"This wasn't a nice sign of commerce to have for a town," said Trois-Rivières mayor Yves Lévesque, who added that he was happy to remove all signs of the biker gang from the city.

The city will likely sell the land once the demolition is completed.
