The rumoured home of longtime Vancouver Canucks left-winger Daniel Sedin has hit the market, listed for $5.9 million.
Sitting in the city's snazzy Shaughnessy neighbourhood, the 4,346 sq.-ft. house has "the perfect floorplan with elegant oversized rooms and attention to every detail," according to its listing.
Boasting five massive bedrooms and four bathrooms, the mansion was "completely rebuilt" in 2006 and gives off a simplistic, albeit sophisticated vibe. Other features include a media room, playroom, study, private backyard deck, custom playground for kids, and room for a wine cellar and gym.
Reports that the home belonged to Sedin surfaced Thursday. When contacted by HuffPost B.C., listing agent Matt Pozer chuckled and neither confirmed nor denied the property owner's identity.
"That's definitely the rumour," he said.
Sedin, who is the Canucks' alternate captain, has been playing in Vancouver alongside his twin brother Henrik since 2000. He and his wife, Marinette, have two daughters and a son.
