U.S. indie music star Father John Misty's acoustic cover of Arcade Fire's The Suburbs at a recent exclusive session for CBC Music has garnered so much international attention that even the likes of Rolling Stone Magazine and the Wall Street Journal are taking note.

The CBC Music video has now been featured on numerous online publications, such as USA Today and the The Daily Beast.

Tastemaker websites like Pitchfork and Stereogum also picked up the video within hours of its release on YouTube on June 30.

Set in a small garage workshop in Vancouver, Father John Misty slowed The Suburbs from a light-hearted sound to a wistful, moody and heart rending version.
