Man, 26, dies in overnight tragedy on northwestern Alberta highway

HYTHE, Alta. - A man has been killed in a two-vehicle collision in northwestern Alberta.

RCMP say an eastbound car on Highway 43 crossed the centre line west of Hythe (Y as in EYE) overnight and collided with a westbound semi.

The lone male occupant of the car died at the scene.

His name has not been released, but police say he was a 26-year-old resident of Valleyview.
