According to Marc Stein of ESPN, Clippers owner Steve Ballmer, coach Doc Rivers, and players Chris Paul and Blake Griffin are travelling to Houston to meet with the sought after free agent.
This prompted Mavericks forward Chandler Parsons, who recently referred to Jordan as the best centre in the NBA, to let his feelings be known on Twitter, using nothing more than an emoji.
Parsons seems to imply that he will hop on a plane to meet up with Jordan as soon as possible to thwart the attempt to lure him back to the Clippers.
Clippers guard J.J. Redick then chimed in with his preferred mode of transportation.
Blake Griffin? Apparently he is a little further away, but is still willing to make the trip.
Despite a reported rift between the two, Chris Paul has a banana boat at his disposal.
Paul Pierce is expected to sign a three-year deal with the Clippers, so his attempt to one-up everyone wasn't surprising, but left many wondering if his phone has emoji capabilities.
Meanwhile, Golden State Warriors forward Marreese Speights just wanted to point out that regardless of which team Jordan chooses, the Warriors just won the championship.
