Quebec police are asking anyone who saw the car involved in a three-vehicle crash that killed two teens last month to come forward.

Danny Davies, 18, and his girlfriend Jenna Bertoldi, 19, were driving in a pickup truck along Highway 315 in Chénéville, Que., just after 10:30 p.m. on Friday, June 26 when someone driving a black 2000 Honda Civic tried to pass their truck.

Sûreté du Québec police believe that when the driver of the Civic saw an oncoming vehicle, the driver tried to manoeuvre back into the lane.

The Civic clipped the rear bumper of the pickup truck, sending the truck into a head-on collision with the oncoming vehicle. The Civic then crashed into the ditch.

Police are asking anyone who saw the Civic in the moments before the crash to come forward.

Anyone with information is asked to call Sûreté du Québec at 1-800-659-4264.
