On Friday, CBC's Musical Nooners brings to the stage one of the most versatile and accomplished Latin singers on the West Coast, Marlin Ramazzini.

Ramazzini grew up in Guatemala and studied music in Cuba for four years, where she developed a passion for percussion and Latin music.

The Juno Award nominee has toured throughout Central America and Canada, soothing audiences with her smooth jazz vocals and making them dance with her spicy salsa rhythms.

On Friday, Ramazzini brings her five-piece Latin band and spicy salsa rhythms to the CBC Nooners stage for a show that will make you want to get up and move.

The CBC Musical Nooners are a series of free, live music concerts from noon to 1 p.m. at the CBC Vancouver Plaza on Hamilton Street (between West Georgia and Robson).

While we do control the lineup, we can't control the weather. Follow us on Twitter at @CBCVancouver or #musicalnooners in case of changes to the schedule due to inclement weather.
