The body of Jonathan Adams, the Newmarket, Ont. man who went missing last month, has been located, according to police.

York Regional Police say they found Adams' remains in a forested area near Dufferin Street and David Drive in Newmarket on Thursday afternoon.

His death is not considered suspicious, investigators said in a statement.

Adams, 26, was last heard from on June 28. Investigators later found his car near Bathurst Street and Keith Avenue, about two kilometres from the area where his body was located.
