The 36-year-old actress wore a fuschia Christian Dior dress, which she paired with silver Gianvito Rossi shoes, a Cartier cuff and earrings, and rings by DeBeers and Pearl Collective, according to The Daily Mail. Though we love the Canadian beauty, we must admit that we weren't overly enthusiastic about the cut of the Dior dress or the shiny material — it simply overpowered her.
Nevertheless, "The Notebook" star still stunned on the Scotia Bank Theatre red carpet with soft minimal makeup and her adorable blonde bob, which was parted at the side.
The man behind her makeup, Matin Maulawizada, shared how he achieved McAdams's look on his Instagram post below:
Doesn't get any cuter than this 💖 #rachelmcadams Premier of #southpaw 💖 #beauty #makeup #Matinmakeup #beautybreakdown: @mywilla #willa rose spray, zero shine & out of sight. @ORLANE_Paris super light hydrating moisturizer & #11 anti-aging foundation. @lauramercier #bonnemine @Dior dress, blush, Masaï eyeshadow & #diorshowmascara, @bobbibrown blond brow pencil #LuckyCat #Miami faux individual lashes. Clinique chubby sheer bubblegum pink lip pencil and last but not least @channelofficial #camiliadeplumes face illuminator.
McAdams's "Southpaw" co-star Jake Gyllenhaal, 34, was also at the premiere. He looked dapper as ever in a navy double-breasted suit. His hair was slicked back and his beard full and scruffy.
Gyllenhaal plays a boxer (Billy Hope) in the film, and reportedly took on an extreme training routine to bulk up for the role, doing a whopping 2,000 sit ups a day. McAdams plays his wife, Maureen.
"Southpaw" is scheduled to hit theatres on July 24.
